Port Hacking substation

Ausgrid is redeveloping the Port Hacking subtransmission substation, which is a major electricity supply point for the Sutherland Shire.

The substation, which is located at 386-396 The Boulevarde in Kirrawee, was built in 1960 and some of the equipment is due to be replaced to enable Ausgrid to maintain a safe and reliable power supply for the area. The project is due to be completed in mid 2018.
