We are advancing EV infrastructure through partnerships with companies like Jolt and EVX, which have enabled us to install chargers on distribution kiosks and low-voltage poles in strategic locations. Furthermore, we have begun integrating EVs into our fleet, with plans to expand the number of EVs and fast DC charging stations at our depots.
We are actively learning and adapting our approach to the cost-effective management of electric vehicles (EVs). Additionally, we have introduced a flexible trial load tariff, providing EV customers with convenient charging options for a fixed network charge.
Ausgrid is planning to electrify 40 per cent of its fleet by 2029 and reach net zero emissions by 2050 for its Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Find out more about our emission targets in our Sustainability Report.
